What you'll do

We will meet just outside Treviso train station where you can easly get by train from Venice in 30 minutes. We will go towars the river and from there star our relaxing 3 hour excursion by bike along the Sile, the longest springriver in Europe, enjoying the landscape and passing by old watermills, through the misterious and unique Burci cemetery (cemetery of the old boats) on the way to Venice.

After reaching a little port for a coffee or spritz and "cicchetti" break, we will go back to Treviso, riding along its ancient walls. We will then pass by the most picturesque corners of the city centre until the fish market, searching for hidden and mysterious clues .

You will know the secrets and the legends of the river Sile , feel its magic, understand why it is so important to us, and you will learn how it is possible to grow the original, unique red radicchio of Treviso (Treviso red chicory). You won't forget the peaceful atmosphere of the river, its stories and semplicity of its traditions. At the end there will be a little surprise waiting for you..!
You can also bring your little dog!!(small size, on the bike basket).

Do not hesitate to contact me for any information, special or family tailor made request or for different days and time.
Other things to note

I am a licensed tour leader, deeply in love with tourists and Treviso. I have worked all over the world for several Tour Operators but then I decided to specialize in the incoming tourism because I felt that my place is here, to help people discover my land, its secrets, its food and its atmosphere.

I've been working with short bike tours for three years now, feeling comfortable with this healthy way of moving which gives you freedom and energy and even when I am finished with the tours I love cycling around my city with my little yorshire toy in the basket :-)

Where you'll be

We will cycle along the Restera cycling path towards Venice, stopping at the old port of the town, heading towards the Burci cemetery, a unique and mysterious place .We will then reach the little port of Casier , for a short brake, where you can try a venetian spriz or our typical cicchetti. In Treviso we will cycle along the walls and then see the tits fountain, the Buranelli Canal, the old watermills and the fish market.

Un tour fantastico! Ci siamo divertiti molto. Consigliatissimo!

This is a really enjoyable bike ride on flat ground and mostly off road. Annalisa is friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the area. I wasn’t expecting the mini tour of Treviso at the end which was fascinating and a beautiful city. We took two children and they loved it also. Highly recommended.

Grazie Annalisa!
