Such a sweet experience. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but it was a lovely experience getting to know this person (and family) who cares so deeply about birds and helps them in such a genuinely holistic way. I definitely recommend wearing comfy clothes and ONLY bring children who are gentle and calm, as the birds deserve calm energy after all that many have been through. We took my 8 month old who doesn’t fuss or yell and he had a really good time just looking at and listening to the birds. Great cause to support!!

Once in a lifetime experience and Gerald did a great job hosting us. He answered all our questions and ensured we spend as much time with the birds as possible. His directions help us reach the location without much confusion. Would visit again later

Jerry was a really engaging, knowledgeable, and passionate host. I really didn’t know anything about parrots but I left feeling connected to them and wanting to help out. Super fun to hold them and feed them. Would totally recommend and go back again with other people. Thank you parrots in paradise sanctuary!

Incredible experience! This sanctuary is home to 100+ birds that are clearly thriving and well-loved. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and, most importantly, protective of their rescues. It’s a huge job to care for this many animals, and they do it with such grace.

I grew up surrounded by Hawaii's lush trees, captivating ocean, and tropical animals. Eighteen years ago, my family noticed many parrots outliving their owners. We built a sanctuary to rescue and care for displaced parrots globally.
