What you'll do

The Rio de Janeiro nightlife experience begins with what we call "pre-night".
First of all, we'll go to a typical Carioca bar at the heart of Copacabana, where people drink standing at the sidewalk. We'll stay there for 30 min just to drink caipirinhas and eat some Brazilian aperitives if you like. We are not going to have dinner because it would take too long, so it would be better if you eat before the experience.
After that, we'll go by Uber or metro or bus to the live "roda de samba" in downtown, which is Rio's historical area. We'll be dancing the samba and of course the Brazilian funk too.
Those parties go till dawn, so it's up to you to decide the time to leave. There will be Uber and táxi available.
The first Brazilian beer shot it's on me to help you to dance the samba ;)
---
The original samba party is on the street and a little far from the touristic places, so I advise you to wear comfortable shoes that can get dirty.
The places use to get crowded, there aren't chairs and people dance on the street. There aren't restaurants too, just bars.
If it's raining, we will go to a live samba in a pub and they charge to get in. The tickets are about R$10 to R$30 and you may pay by cash at the entrance.
---
Please, don't forget you're ID copy, it may be necessary.

Let's have some fun! :D

Brazilians say that Carioca is a person who was born in Rio. I am a carioca in love with the city itself! Graduated in Social Communication, I've always travelled a lot since I was a kid, but it's in Rio where I feel at home and I want everyone who comes to visit us feel the same.
Our rich culture is the result of the mixture of African, European and aborigines cultures that today form Brazilian identities as plural as beautiful. My intention is to show you a little bit of this "farofa" by the eyes of someone that loves music and history, but escaping from the touristic sights and embarking on the typical Carioca night.

We had a great time with Ana. What I liked most about her tour is how informative she was about Rio's rich history and culture. I highly recommend this tour, specifically to anyone who'd like to hang in Rio as a local, with a native.
