What you'll do

You will be cooking in the kitchen of a real chef! You will be mincing, slicing and dicing. We will create a meal that is 100% hands on. You will leave with a sense of accomplishment and food that you can show off at your own dinner parties (or maybe a really impressive first date)! I will teach you some of my signature dishes. Join me in cooking a fabulous meal in an intimate setting. I have owned two restaurants, trained with a Michelin starred chef and catered iconic events in the Bay Area. I value clean flavors, locally sourced ingredients, the challenge of working with unusual ingredients and creating cultural mash-ups.

I opened my first restaurant Izzys in Crested Butte, CO where I made bagels and breads from scratch and was published in The New York Times. After traveling and cooking my way through Mexico and an organic farm in Vietnam, I opened a second restaurant, Twisted Fork in Gunnison, CO with a focus on Asian-inspired dishes and a true farm to table experience.

My approach to cooking classes is to create a memorable and shared experience. We cook together, eat together, tell stories and leave with a sense of accomplishment and new culinary skill
