I've been exploring hidden gems of beautiful Aotearoa for over a decade, spending my free time outdoors - hiking, tramping and camping. I enjoy good adventure and love taking pictures and filming (including areal) along the way.

The hikes for this experience were not overwhelming, but the scenery was. The East Coast is the central portal into NZ for pacific islanders and european colonists. It is also its current trade routes as the west coast in the Tasman Sea is a little unruly. However, the environment is still in tact and well protected. You'll appreciate the beauty of the country so much more. Artem and his "co-pilot" Avav were great hosts and between them gave a lot of insight, and made the trip smooth. We saw so much, and made some flexible choices for our lunch pick. We had some fresh made seafood in an outdoor setting and had a nice conversation about a range of things. It was like making two new friends. The blueberry picking was a good choice, and the freshmade blueberry ice cream was like nothing else you've ever had.
