For 13 years our mixed herd has organically rejuvenated years of overgrazing on our family farm.
Medicinal herbs and rizomes are planted strategically, protected species are flourishing, and gentle pasture management with sheep, goats and horses, help keep our family farm open for wildlife. DOE RAM ME specifically breeds Karakul, the oldest domesticated sheep in the world, mixed breed goats for meat, personal dairy consumption add to natural forest management as our herd rejuvenates the land and soil with their pesticide free pellets. Our horses guard them. The Indomitable Spirit of the horse that gives us silly humans wings to fly tether us to the vibrational heartbeat of the our mother : earth.

Come restore your soul with a walkabout and love on our furry friends.

ALOHA.

This adventure was the GOAT -- all puns intended. El has tons of experience raising animals and was a delight to learn from. The goats and sheep were so vivacious, full of personality. We absolutely would visit again!

This was SO much fun!! I couldn’t stop laughing for the first 15 minutes. My husband and was reluctant to go, but was as thrilled as I was. El is amazing with the animals, calling each one by name. It is a magical experience that I highly recommend. All of our questions were answered. I plan to go again when my BFF visits. THANKS El

We had so much fun on El’s farm! The goats were so friendly and we really enjoyed walking with them through El’s beautiful property. The cherry on top was holding a baby lamb at the end of our walk! We also brought our 17 month old with us- he did really well with the animals and we recommend bringing a carrying back pack for transporting little ones. ;)

Hands down, one of the most magical experiences of my life!!! I’m so grateful El got to share her morning routine with her beloved farm animals with me and my husband. It was so humbling to learn about all the goats and sheep, their stories and their names — each one a unique personality. El was extremely knowledgeable about all things farm life and I left the experience a better person for it. 10/10 would recommend booking this activity, it is truly an amazing experience. I cannot wait to visit El and her furry family again very soon!!

Wonderful experience! We went with our 5 and 7 year olds, plus a grandparent. Most of the time is spent walking around from pasture to pasture with a bunch of goats, who are quite friendly and docile, and quite keen on the food that the host gives you to feed them. It's loads of fun! Was really quite a feeling to interact with the animals for a prolonged period of time and to stare in the eyes of the goats' boxy pupils. Our kids will talk about this for a looong time. If you bring children under 5 or who can't walk for a while, I'd bring along an ergo or similar carrier - also, very young kids might be a bit overwhelmed by them (my 5 yr old alternated between being enthralled to totally freaked out, still loved it). At the end you get to hang out with the sheep, who are hilarious, and can possibly hold a lamb. The host also showed us a few horses, and we learned from her that "horse yoga" is actually a thing (who knew?!). Overall, a fantastic time with nature and a great guide! One tip is to arrive ready to go - use the restroom beforehand etc - you just park and head right into the farm. Host gave great tips on where to go afterwards for lunch :)

My wife and I (from Philly) have done a couple of these experiences, and this was, far and away better than we could have imagined! The goats were amazing. Very tame. There was so much interaction. We’ve already decided we’re going back! Elizabeth is very knowledgeable.
