What you'll do

We will discuss the menu over a welcome drink (e.g. Indian Chai/Sharbat). In an interactive session, I will teach how to cook a three course meal including an appetizer, main course and dessert. We will also learn how to customize these dishes based on your preferences (e.g. spice level, food allergies etc.). I will provide all required ingredients and you will be cooking with help of my guidance. We can eat the food together or take-home and share the stories about cooking. In this experience you will learn about Indian food culture and how to cook delicious Indian food using simple ingredients at home everyday. Winter Menu: 1) Welcome Drink- Chai 2) Appetizer- Onion and Spinach Pakora 3) Main course- Curry, Dal (lentil soup), Roti (bread), Rice 4) Warm Dessert

Learn more about Apurva

Apurva

I started cooking Indian food when I first left home for job, tired of eating outside and missing food from my mom's kitchen. When I moved to Boston I started cooking more Indian dishes. While cooking Indian dishes I feel more connected to my mom and grandmother, by observing whom I learned cooking. Me and my husband love to cook everyday and would be happy to serve our guest.
