What you'll do
In order to feel like a true Portuguese, you have to experience the BEAUTY of our country, but also learn our oldest CRAFTS!
We will not only tell you, but also show two of the things we have been the best at for centuries. These are Making Wine & The Art of Ceramic Tiles (Also known as Azulejos).
We will set out from the Hard Rock Café in Lisbon and cross the river Tagus to one of the most beautiful regions in Portugal. Visit to the Livramento Market in Setúbal. Get in touch with this fishing town and admire the panels with over 6000 tiles of interior decoration.
Next we'll visit the Pie Factory, famous for making the delicious Azeitão pies. A great time to learn about our pastry making expertise and have an incredible breakfast!
Learn about the process we use to paint the incredible tiles you see everywhere in our architecture. Hear about the history of the craft and get a chance to paint a tile of your own!
After tasting the freshest seafood in our country (not included in the price but very cheap!), we head on to our Wine Cellar Visit. Learn about Portuguese Wine manufacture in this guided visit and taste 4 different incredible wines!
We return to Lisbon through the beautiful Arrábida Mountains (some say more beautiful than Sintra) and make a final stop at Cabo Espichel, a ravine Lighthouse with an incredible sunset!
Exclusions: Lunch
Meeting Point: Hard Rock Café

Fabulous trip, awesome guide (Teresa) and amazing value for money. You see some breathtaking scenery, so many points of interest, learn so much about the region, eat some delicious yet affordable food and a great wine tour!!! Couldn’t ask for more. Teresa was friendly, knowledgeable and personalised some aspects of the tour based on my interests. Loved it and highly recommended. If you do one tour when in Lisbon, make it this one!!

Luis was our guide for our experience. He made our day magical. We had so much fun. The restaurants and winery were excellent and well priced. The locations beautiful. The tile experience was personal and so much fun to actually paint a tile! I have a hard time telling the most fun part of day because it was all fun due to Luis and wonderful Portugal.

Luis was my "guide" but, even as he said, more like a great companion. As I was the only guest, he completely tailored the experience to me, finding an additional winery in Setubal for us to visit and taste. The day was full of great experiences.

Well, I think it was an anomaly as most of the reviews are very favourable. There are 90 different drivers, so I think we just were unlucky, but maybe good to confirm with your driver in advance that you will have all the things on your tour before you go. Almost nothing of ours happened, but the manager offered a full refund, so aside from losing the day, it was all remedied in the end.

Jose was my tour guide for this experience and it was a nice tour. We had some foggy weather in the morning but still saw some beautiful views and enjoyed coffee at a cafe by the beach. The local lunch restaurant was so good, the fish so fresh, definitely one of my best meals in Portugal so far. We also went on to a winery and tile making place, both providing great insights into their craft that I had not known before. This tour was peaceful, informative, and provided unique experiences I would not have found on my own.
