What you'll do
We take you on a wonderful 2-hour SUP tour through the beautiful Cape Byron Marine Park. 'Get on board' a Stand Up Paddle Board and learn the basics of this hugely popular water sport, before paddling through the enchanting estuary environment getting up close to unique marine life while experiencing the thrill of gliding along the water.
We meet at the launch-site in the cool historic village of Brunswick Heads, just 15-minutes up the road from Byron Bay (due to Local Gov't rules, no SUP tours are allowed in Byron.)
All equipment is provided and after kitting you out, we teach the basics of Stand Up Paddle Boarding including stroke technique, balancing, turning and safety before we hit the water where your SUP adventure begins!
Our professional and fun instructors stay with you on the water, guiding you through the magical features of the estuary, giving helpful tips along the way to improve your skills, technique and overall experience.
Other things to note:
Guests bring their own swimsuit and towel, protective sunhat and sunglasses. Due to CoVid-19 regulations, guests must supply their own drinking water and sunblock.
Guests arrange their own transport to/from launch site in Brunswick Heads.

I've been teaching surfing and operating surf and SUP schools in Australia since the early 1990's. Over two decades, I've taught tens of thousands of people the thrill of surfing and now the pleasures of stand up paddle boarding. SUP'ping is a fantastic experience and can be achieved by anyone, regardless of age, fitness or ability. We are the original SUP School in the Bay. Join me or one of my fully-qualified instructors on a daily guided SUP tour through the Byron Marine Park, all in a professional, licensed and safe environment.
