What you'll do

We will be surfing to cleanse the soul and satisfy our mind at one of San Diego's finest beaches. I will provide proper etiquette and technique I have learned surfing for over 20 years. The personal satisfaction and inspiration surfing provides is something that can only be understood after a surf. Most importantly, we will enjoy and have fun. I am a certified lifeguard and everything we do is based around safety.
Other things to note
Bring sunscreen and towel. Feel free to reach out directly for inquiries about certain dates/time that might not appear available.

Joe was an incredible guide and teacher. He really cared about making sure I got the best experience. He is well respected by other locals, which will help you feel more comfortable out there. But here is the reason you need to book a lesson with Joe, even if you have taken a lesson before - access and local knowledge. He can get you in spots you wouldn’t be able to on your own. Joe is great! He is a smart and insightful teacher; he will iron out your bad habits and encourage you to take it to the next level with your surfing. Just in one session I felt like I’d experienced surfing in a totally different way.
