A lovely experience, right in the heart of the city: Hafiz knows his art and speaks of incredible passion。His teaching aim to is too keep the tradition of Batik painting alive and to share it wisely and he succeeded. His lesson was prepared well with supporting props and was highly informative , with information regarding the process of Batik art from it’s history to the current day factory work. He showed examples to support his teaching but kept the process fun and fast going. Painting in the brightness of the day was relaxing and really cheerful. He and his wife are helpful and kind people. This was a quality experience that I can highly recommend. If you have chance , go for it, I believe it could make your day :)

Such a wonderful experience! Hafiz was so welcoming and cared very deeply about sharing the art of Batik. The Batik making itself was a lot of fun!

The batik workshop was very informative. We got to learn about the culture and different techniques on how to create batik. Definitely worth it and should be an agenda for those who will visit Kuala Lumpur.

This was a great experience for me — being immersed to the wonderful culture of our friendly neighbors from the southwest. Hafiz and his 2 assistants (I forgot to ask for their names) were ALL wonderful. They made sure that we are all attended to, and we are all comfortable. The location was also great!!! I love how it is outdoor while people are casually walking and at the same time curious about what we're doing. This activity made me more in love with Malaysia. Five stars!!!

Lovely experience. Hands on canting and colouring batik. Meet new people. A skill to develop or try at least once in a lifetime. Hafiz and his assistance were very friendly and attentive.
