You will be a student falconer for an hour and experience the thrill to have a trained hawk land on and take off from your glove. You'll learn the basics of falconry (a bit of training, equipment and rules) while helping us put one of our birds through their daily routine. Where you'll be

We'll be at the Torrey Pines Gliderport, a truly unique City Park next to the famous Blacks Beach. It offers the best view of both the cliffs and the coastline of La Jolla. The area has free parking, is wheelchair accessible, and has a great off-the-grid cafe! On a good day you can see paragliders soar along the coast, and spot dolphins and whales go by. Drive through the parking lot and walk to the grassy hill over the cliffs.
