What you'll do

Experience Itinerary:

8:00 AM- We'll start the day meeting bright and early. This ensures we can beat the crowds and have a better shot at first tracks. I can pick you up at your Airbnb or we can meet at the Park & Ride at the base of the canyon, whichever works best for you.

8:30 AM-Arrive at Brighton Ski Resort. We will enjoy a delicious cup of hot cocoa while getting ready for the day. From there we head to the slopes to ski some of the best terrains and take in the beautiful views of the Wasatch range. I require that guests be at least an intermediate skier (comfortably ski blue runs) to be able to take full advantage of this tour. We will be stopping intermittently for photo opportunities with viewpoints that will amaze you while taking action video shots along the way.

12:00 PM-After an exhilarating morning, we will stop in for a delicious hot lunch at one of my favorite restaurants at the resort.

1:00 PM- Following the relaxing break, we will head out to explore some more of the mountain.

3:00-After we have explored the area to your liking, we will head back to the base and from there back to the car and head down the canyon.

I have been skiing in the Wasatch since I was very young. I am an advanced skier and snowboarder and have spent years exploring Utah resorts and consequently carry extensive background knowledge and history of the Wasatch Range. Utah skiing runs deep in my roots. My great-grandpa was one of the first members to install a rope tow back in the 1930s! I previously helped guide backcountry ski tours for University Students. I love being in the outdoors! Hiking, climbing, skiing and flying are just a few of my passions. I am excited to be your guide to the greatest snow on earth!

The Utah ski resorts on the Wasatch front offer a wide variety of terrain and the best snow on earth! On this tour, we will be skiing either Brighton or Solitude Mountain resort! It's your choice. Both up big cottonwood canyon, these resorts are famously renowned for that blower wasatch powder.

What to bring

I am excited to have on our ski touring trip up Big Cottonwood Canyon. Here are just a few things to remember.

Please dress appropriately for a full day on the mountain. It is best to dress in layers as the temperature can vary greatly during the day. Go warmer than you think, you can always take off layers as needed.
