What you'll do

On the John F Kennedy Assassination tour, we take you through the events of the day from a perspective not found on other tours. You'll find out why JFK was even in Dallas that day and why that route for the motorcade chosen. We lay out the incredible coincidences and timing that culminated in a national tragedy that is as poignant today as it was in 1963.

We also tell the story of Jackie Kennedy's tremendous loss and her overwhelming grief. A story often overlooked. You've heard how she was stoic and poised in public, which she was, but we take you deeper into the private, human side of the story. You'll stand in disbelief as you hear these untold stories and wonder if you could have withstood the same public pressure if you were in her shoes. Not just the Assassination, but other, equally devastating life experiences.

The walking tour ends at the Sixth Floor Museum. There you can continue with a self guided tour equipped with headsets. We will help you buy tickets, give an overview of the Museum and help you with a speedy entrance.
Other things to note
This 1 hour tour is a perfect addition to other activities planned for the day. The walk is leisurely and only encompasses about 1/2 mile. All stops are shady or air conditioning spaces. Visual aids are provided in the form of slides that the guide presents at each stop to enhance the experience.

We took the JFK memorial tour with Anthony today, and it was an excellent way to learn some history! Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions we had. I was happy to see there were a few more families in our tour, it made for an even better experience since everyone had some input and questions. The area we covered in downtown was quite small so not too much walking. I don't think people realize how small and somber the scene is, but it became apparent quickly and we even had a moment of silence. I would recommend this tour to Dallas visitors. I also recommend bringing cash to tip your tour guide, you'll definitely want to at the end. The story telling and personal anecdotes added a special touch that I don't think you'll find elsewhere.

John was our guide and he was excellent! Great personality, provided a lot of facts, and he didn’t mind hearing about alternate theories. I would completely recommend the tour, with John as the tour guide.

We expected this tour to be informative and a good pre-depository experience based on previous excellent reviews. We were not disappointed. Easy walk. Convenient nearby parking. Well informed and interesting guide.

I loved the fact that he gave background on Lee Harvey Oswald's family and how they influenced him. New information that I had never heard previously.
