I am the founder of Up The Keys Tours and a Certified International Tour Director. I have lived in the Keys since 2008 and have been conducting tours of Key West and the Lower Keys since then. What we’ll do

You'll be warmly greeted at your accommodations by your local tour guide and you'll be invited to get comfortable in our custom air-conditioned touring van. Your guide is your driver who will provide commentary and guide your Key Deer Safari en route to your clean-up/beautifying location. What else you should know

This is a volunteering experience that includes kayaking, and getting wet & dirty. It's hard work but very rewarding. Kayak experience is not required.

What I’ll provide

Lunch
Choose a lunch item at a local's favorite restaurant. Includes french fries & soft drink or iced tea.
Water
Filtered water is provided to refill your water bottle. Bring your own water bottle or buy one from your guide for $5.
Bus
Travel in a comfortable air-conditioned 15-passenger van in a group of 10 or fewer.
Outdoor gear and Safety equipment
Kayak, paddle, life jackets are provided by Conch Republic Marine Army & Big Pine Kayak Adventures.

Where you'll be

The clean-up location is on the mangrove edge of Big Pine Key or No Name Key depending on where our work is needed most. Your lunch stop is a local's favorite waterfront restaurant. The Key Deer are an endangered species of whitetail deer that live only in the Lower Keys. Your guide knows where to find them!

Any experience can be canceled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside of the Airbnb website or app.

Up to 10 guests ages 18 and up can attend.
