What you'll do

Talk-Shop and Slay in Swahili.
Talk- First we learn the language "Jambo" "rafiki'' "hakuna matata". I will teach you some very simple Swahili words to make you feel at home. As you wish, you can even learn some complex yet simple greetings "Habari gani?".
Recreational Shopping- They say "shopping is cheaper than a psychiatrist" we will shop from the busy Kariakoo market all the way to the calm wood carving markets. Guests will get to experience shopping like a Swahili person (like a local).
The Kariakoo market is busy, noisy yet thrilling, exciting and adventurous. It is the lively colorful market full of all the treasures of Tanzania People call it the heartbeat of the city. There is so much local produce you can get, like souvenir, the African fabrics, spices, fruits and many more.
The Wood Carving markets: One of the best places to get the cultural materials from Tanzania. The products are such as antiquities, the paintings, shoes, wood products, fabrics, decors, earrings, bracelets, and many more.
Having a local will help you navigate easily and safely and get to buy things at a reasonable price.

KARIBU SANA.

I am an adventurous traveler and an entertaining host. Over 5 years hosting visitors who are now my good friends. Welcome to this urban jungle or call it Dar es salaam. I provide shopping experience, from the busy Kariakoo market to the calm creative maasai market all the way to the food markets. Managing all the buying negotiations, my clients call me by the name  "the negotiator".
We grab the bajaj (tricycles) and walk in our streets all the way to the SHOPPING experience.
Come and shop at our markets and slay in Swahili.

I chose to begin my first visit to Tanzania/Dar es Salaam with Florence's "Talk Shop & Slay"-Experience and feel like a bit of genius now because I had the best time ever! Flor went above and beyond my expectations and gave me the confidence I needed to feel really "settled in." Things her ad doesn't mention, but should: + You will be essentially hanging out with a supermodel-- she is as gorgeous as she is kind and attentive and knowledgeable about the best places to shop. + Flor is a professional translator, having run market-research focus groups for mega-companies like Facebook. + If you don't want to shop and prefer to do another activity, just reach out and ask and she will happily help with arrangements or accompany you/your party herself! I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to move through the city in the wake of her effortless grace! My favorite AirBnB experience to date. Perfect!
