It was such a great trip. Zack is an excellent adventure-tour-man, we had a super nice time, much storytelling and saw much of the wonderful landscape. We would have never order a chowder on our own, but it was really delicious!

I live in Dublin for number of years but still have so many things to discover! This Experience was very unique as our Host Paula had so many interesting stories to tell and give us plenty historical aspects on places we visited. I would not been able to find this trail on my own and probably would get lost somewhere along the way:) Paula was very considerate of us, she made sure that we were all on the same page with walking pace and felt comfortable. She was super friendly and very knowledgable, we got to know how local people live in Howth and through this felt much connected. The highlight of the trip was the famous Chowder in a cosy pub/restaurant. Our host made sure that this was the best chowder on offer in whole neighbourhood, which was simply amazing! I would highly recommend this Experience to nature enthusiasts and food lovers. Thanks Paula!

Paul was our guide for the tour. He gave us a great experience, a mildly strenuous hike in the hills above the Howth harbor. It was a fantastic hike, the terrain varied from urban to forest (almost tropical jungle-like) to winding paths up to the breath-taking heaths with views of Dublin, the Howth harbor and the islands off the coast. The hike was almost 3 hours, and good walking shoes and a reasonable degree of fitness are required. At the end of the walk, Paul took us to Brass Monkey, where we had a delicious bowl of piping hot fish chowder, the best in Howth, according to Paul (and it was delicious). They even accommodated the vegetarian in our group. Paul was great, low key and very informative, it felt more like a walk with a friend than a tour (it helped that it was only 3 of us on the tour). We would highly recommend this experience for anyone looking for something a little different from the typical Howth harbor experience. Next time, we'll try the safari tour, which goes all the way around Howth. Thank you, Paul!

Howth is a perfect active port and village. The walk took us to the castle, up the hill for fantastic views of the harbour, islands and Dublin, along the cliffs, past the ruined Abbey and a delightful meal of local fish in the harbour. Brilliant explanations of history, flora forna and birds. An unbeatable trip. Great value and ideal weather

Paula was absolutely wonderful! While this experience is really more of a 13 mile hike rather than a walk it was truly amazing! The views and the company were great and the experience was finished off with some of the best chowder I’ve ever had! I highly recommend this for anyone traveling in Dublin!
