What you'll do

We'll retreat from the stresses of city life in order to slow down and access a sense of tranquility while connecting with the land. Forest bathing—also known as forest therapy— takes the form of a guided walk designed to relax and rejuvenate. We'll bathe our senses in the healing qualities of nature and share our experiences through conversation. We'll leave refreshed by this contemplative practice that we can carry into our everyday routines.
Other things to note
Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. The trail is relatively shady but you might want to bring an umbrella in case of sprinkles. Let me know of any food allergies.

Where you'll be

A small park with a large and significant history, Arch Creek Park was created around a natural limestone bridge formation that was once part of an important Indian trail. It is believed to have first been used by the Tequesta Indian tribe and later by the Seminoles. (https://www.miamidade.gov/parks/arch-creek.asp)

The experience of opening the senses to the forest with the guidance of Fereshteh was exceptional! I feel refreshed and new and a renewed friendship with the forest. Thank you Fereshteh!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience connecting with nature during our walk through the woods with Fereshteh. Her gentle, friendly personality immediately put us at ease and got us into the right contemplative state of mind to really appreciate the sights and sounds of this beautiful patch of woods and to connect with the habitat. There was one other guest on our walk who shared the same openness toward the experience, so the result was a very gratifying sense of having bonded together over a couple of very well spent hours. If you are looking for a low-key, almost meditative way to connect with nature and feel rejuvenated, I highly recommend trying this experience.

It was such a “refreshing” experience to walk around this small forest park so near the train tracks and the street noise. It was as described, a sensory experience. Fereshteh’s cues were right on and she made it easy and comfortable to get in a meditative place. Highly recommended

I completely recommend the forest bathing experience. Who knew there would be a little forest in Miami? Ferrshteh is a fantastic experience guide. If you’d like to do something different while you’re in Miami, try this out. For anyone that likes yoga, meditation or nature this is a good experience to do

Fereshthet is a very good teacher and I love my time spent with her and the forest. This experience is completely original and different, it really helps to disconnect from stress and environmental life to connect to what is really important, Nature and you. 2h30 to feel destressed, relaxed and linked with Nature. For me this experience is a mix between Meditation, Nature and kind of yoga for the spirituality. I utterly recommand this experience if you want to be the one doing something not touristical in Miami. And seriously, what's 2h30 in your journey... you can do it, you will enjoyyyy it ! For once in life, try something different, it worths it!
