What you'll do

First of all, have you ever seen how Japanese swords are made or touched a real sword??
Why do you think Japanese swords remain beautiful even over a long period of time??

As you know, the Japanese sword is one of the most famous sword weapons in the world.
But I think there are few people who know that swordsmiths still exist and fewer who have a chance to see their factories and experience iron forging.

In my factory, I organize a sword-forging event for the people who are interested in Japanese swords. I will introduce the history and manufacturing method of Japanese swords, allow you to experience iron forging for yourself, and take pictures with a real Japanese sword.

There are few people who have permission to make Japanese swords, and even fewer factories where you can see the process demonstrated.
Here you can sense the atmosphere, smell the burning coal, hear the sounds of forging iron, and feel the heat from the furnace.

My factory is purely designed for making Japanese swords, but over 20 people can easily enjoy the event.
Inside the factory, I enshrine a female deity called “Kanayago-sama” (a deity of iron craftsmen including sword smiths), and there are some Shinto straw festoons surrounding the workshop to make a sacred border.

It promises to be one of your most wonderful memories of Japan.
Other things to note
・Solo guest may book at the price of 2 participants
・At the end of this event, I'll give you Souvenirs. Metal plate with your name and engraved in Kanji.

Hi, everyone.
I’m Fusahiro. I have been making Japanese swords for 25 years.

In Japan, we need a national certification to be a swordsmith.
To become certified, we train for over 5 years from a swordsmith and have to pass a practical examination.

I was trained in the 25th generation of swordsmiths under Kanefusa Fujiwara (a famous swordsmith clan). After I became independent, I made many Japanese swords.

I feel that Japanese swords are not only weapons, but also carry a spiritual meaning for Japanese. As they are deeply connected to the Japanese spirit, I think the culture of Japanese swords is world class.

Nowadays, I not only make Japanese swords, but also organize a forging event so that everyone can experience the allure of Japanese swords.

I’m looking forward to seeing you at the event.
