Isabelle

I am a Melbourne born Jew, whose parents survived the holocaust in Warszaw. I studied the History of Jews in Melbourne as part of my post graduate studies. I also worked at the Jewish Museum. Jewish migration in Melbourne is wide and varied. It continues to this day. It has flavoured the history of the city, as we will see on this tour.

Where you'll be

We will be in Elsternwick and St. Kilda, where the museums are located. These areas also represent suburbs where many Jewish people currently live. These suburbs are part of Melbourne's metropolitan area.
