I’m a co-founder of the Vardia family farm with 10 years of experience.
My family has been farming with love for generations. They came to Dubrovnik in 14 century and cultivating for Dubrovnik nobility on whose land we are today.
With garden for our own needs where tomatoes, lettuce, onions and potatoes grow, we owned a vineyard of 500 vines and 2 olive groves with total of 60 olive trees.

This is a MUST experience in Dubrovnik. Ivica picked us up at our accommodation - from the get-go, he was super friendly and told us incredible stories of the town and important monuments. We arrived at the vineyard, an incredible location overlooking the city and sea. Ivica's passion and appreciation for his family vineyard is beautiful to witness, and contagious! We learned so much about the trees, the processes, the soil, and enjoyed fresh bread with amazing wine to taste. Could not recommend this enough. Highlight of our 5-day trip in Dubrovnik. We hope to meet Dominika on our next trip (we are definitely returning!).

Beautiful country, beautiful people! Ivica is a great host who graciously shared his family farm . Tour included homemade bread, candied almonds, olive oil, and wine. All of this prepared by his family and shared with genuine love of his land and way of life. It only takes a few minutes before you feel like you are spending an afternoon with a old friend. Highly recommended

The highlight of our time in Dubrovnik. Ivica was an incredible host and it was so wonderful to get into the countryside to experience the full beauty of Dubrovnik. The farm and winery are amazing and Ivica is so knowledgeable about everything- he provided a history, cultural, farming, and wine making lesson all in one. The wine, spirits, olive oil, and Dominika’s bread were absolutely delicious. Overall incredible hospitality and wonderful experience in a peaceful and beautiful part of the city that few will ever see. Can’t wait to return.

We have thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the vineyard. Ivica was very welcoming, his tour was fun, engaging, and felt like a tailor made experience. He has answered all our questions and we had a chance to taste the wine, liquor, and olive oil produced at the farm. We would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to learn more about the local history and the tradition of wine making and olive growing in this region of Croatia.

We had such a wonderful time on this tour! Our host was so kind, a very safe driver, and easy to talk to. It's the perfect way to have a more local, authentic experience from someone whose family has been in Croatia for generations, and who is so passionate about his land. He set up the most beautiful picnic full of delicious bites and drinks straight from his vineyard. Would highly recommend to everyone!

Take a break from the crowded city and travel to a lovely mountain side farm. Excellent conversation. It’s really nice seeing someone who loves what he does: Continuing the family winemaking tradition of his ancestors. Highly recommended.
