What you'll do

In order to avoid the day time heat during our running tour activity which directly affects our physical strength, we will start our activity at 5 A.M. in the morning right at Suanluang Park (in central Phuket town). Starting early will also give us a benefit of seeing the city when it’s not too crowded and get a chance of doing thing late people can’t do. We will spend the first 30 minutes to introduce ourselves and warm up. At 5.30 A.M. we will start our run through the city, get to an awesome city view point, park, sunrise, and beautiful street art along the way. The total distance of this whole trip by foot is around 12 km (1 hill included). We will finish at the old town Phuket at around 7.30 A.M. During the 2 hours we will spend time running from points to points, rest, take photos and enjoy the fresh morning air including stop for refueling. We would almost end our journey with one of the best roti bread breakfast in town. The restaurant provides variety of local menu and drinks beside roti bread. Lastly we will walk with our full tummy and enjoyment to the central fresh market to catch a local Phuket original ‘Potong’ bus back to the park where we started at around 9.30 A.M.
Do not worry about the running too much if you are not a strong runner. This activity is more on the sightseeing with a slower pace which the group is capable of and we will make stops for refueling

I’m a passionate marathon runner who is on an attempt to qualify for legendary Boston Marathon. I have started running since almost 20 years ago and been sideway to compete in table tennis at national youth level and come back for running again after college. I have been training very serious for the past 3 years and have my personal best at 3:24 hr. at the Chicago Marathon 2019. I also have a 29 rooms cozy pool resort business in Phuket, so I thought it would be good if I can combine my 2 passions of hospitality and sport to extend the experience of visitors in Phuket with a unique experience of running, city sightseeing, visiting landmarks and locally unknown place, enjoying local breakfast and etc. My expectation is to make more friends who share the same passion and ensure that they get their best time spent in Phuket.

Where you'll be

We will start our activity at Suanluang Park in Phuket town and will head toward Rang Hill which provides a wonderful view of Phuket town. Next we will city run toward Sapanhin park and sport complex to catch beautiful sunrise and turn around toward the city again to visit the old town Phuket with plenty of history and street art. We will eat at one of the best roti bread breakfast in town before getting on a original local bus experience back.

I have never done an Airbnb experience before but happened to click on it while staying in Phuket and came across this running experience. As everyone has previously reviewed, I cannot say enough good things about Nott! He is awesome. So accommodating and kind. He is such an expert runner and was sharing that knowledge with me. The run was spectacular, really cool to run through the city at that early hour and to go to Phuket Town and see the sun rise. It ended with a delicious roti and curry and it was perfect for the end of the run. Nott is just a super nice human being, I would highly recommend this experience, whether you’re a runner or not. I’m a runner and just soaked up invaluable tips from him! I hope to run with him again!

It was a great experience. Early rise, meeting at 5 in the morning. Running through the night city, lit by electrical lights. Empty streets. A completely different Phuket. Quiet and peaceful city, sleepy and friendly. Running is very comfortable and easy. I wanted this cool morning to last forever. We arrived at the view point at the top of the hill and looked at the sleeping city; then we go to the sea shore, where enjoyed the fresh sea breeze; and then had breakfast in a cozy morning cafe, where ordinary locals feed tasty and have breakfast - and all this is on the run, because it is a running experience with stops in interesting places. But Thailand is not only monuments and shops, not only embankments and beaches, not only perfect places. Thailand is, first and foremost, people. I was very pleased to meet you, Nott!

En: Nott is a good guy, the run was nice and relaxing, but effective as well, especially a (surprise for you, guys) :)) running this early will get you a chance to discover, that Phuket is much deeper, than a regular tourist can see. Si i highly recommend Nott's event, it's totally worth it!)) RU: раз уж я чуть ли не первый русский турист, который поучаствовал в этом мероприятии, то раскрою карты: если у вас есть базовый английский и вы можете более менее общаться, вы нереально кайфанёте от этой пробежки: совершенно комфортно бежать, темп восстановительный, но эффективный, Нотт будет все комментировать, помогать держаться в ритме, в общем, это будет очень интересно, у его припасено несколько локаций, которые обходят стороной местные гиды, а рассвет..вы никогда не забудете это рассвет. В общем я настоятельно рекомендую! Цена, кстати, включает лёгкий снэк, воду и местный завтрак (очень недурно). Уверен, что бегущим будет весьма клёво:)

What an Experience!!! Even before the run started the interaction began. Nott checked with us regarding the place of our stay and how we intend to reach the start point( which happens to be the Rama Park). He sent us the directions when I said that I would be travelling with myself. A day before the run he gave a reminder on Whatsapp, just to make sure that we don’t skip this event by any chance. We met dot on time at the designated spot where one was very warmly greeted by the host followed by the warm up session. Nott also provide us with pre run snacks( read banana) and hydrant ( read water bottle) for the run. After a very quick introduction with fellow runners( we had Randy from US with us who also happens to be an long distance run trainer) we started the run. There were many places of historical , cultural and natural interest that Nott showed us enroute and we also stopped at various places for pics and storytelling about the place. Along the way we saw a couple of Chinese Temples, Range hill view point while it was still dark, Street Art, Old town, Sunrise view point to name a few. The run ended with an sumptuous breakfast at one of the better know restaurants of Phuket(very famous with the celebrities and local alike) and finally we took a local bus back to the start point. Nott himself came as a warm and hospitable person who happens to be a professional runner himself. He paces you well through out the route and knows when to make you walk and halt for water breaks or otherwise. He also is an excellent photographer and he shared some of the amazing pics clicked during the experience on the Whatsapp. And last but not the least he is an excellent story teller and loves meeting people. Verdict:- The getting up early was worth the experience. Not to be missed if you are in Phuket for sure. And yes after this you will definitely have some one to call a friend in Thailand 🇹🇭 😊.

Amazing experience from beginning to end. I truly felt I made new friendships. As soon as I booked this experience, Nott was very open and communicative. He was very responsive and genuinely showed he cared. He answered all my questions and even gave me advice on my stay before we even started. Nott even offered to pick me up and drop me off for the price of gas. Once we arrived, we met another traveler, Vineet, who was also very nice. We were all different levels of runners, but Nott made sure to make us all feel comfortable about our pace. Throughout the run, he had detailed explanations of many landmarks and answered all our questions. Highly recommend for anyone interested in learning about Phuket! Expect to run at least 10 kilometers :)
