What you'll do
This is a wonderful and unique experience for animal lovers. I own a café where I shelter around 40 rescued cats who are waiting to be adopted. I take care of all of them, but I never have enough time to play with each of the cats. So, please come and play with these cute furry friends. All of the cats are friendly and want you to interact with them. Many people are unaware of the darker side of the pet industry, and many cats have a sad past. This is a great opportunity to do some good by connecting with these cats and giving them some love. After playing with them and listening to their stories, you may even want to adopt one and give it a life of happiness. But if that's not possible, please feel free just to play with them.
Other things to note
Socks are required. Bring your camera, but no flash photography is permitted. As cat nails may get caught, please pay extra attention to any expensive clothing.

During my time working as a shelter volunteer, I saw many shelter cats waiting for the chance to get a home, or for someone to pet them once in a while. I was inspired to help them, and came up with the idea of making a cat café shelter business as a securely funded way to cover their food, medical expenses, and activities, with the hope of recruiting foster parents.

Where you'll be
We'll be in a building with a big colonnade, where cats can play freely. Some of these cats were raised in poor environments and in small cages where they weren't able to run or jump. But now, I own several cat cafés, where they are protected and can move around freely and play.

Visiting Neko no Ki was so fun! It was my first time going to a cat café. I was impressed by how clean it was (I used to work at an animal shelter, and I know how much hard work it takes to stay clean!) and I was also impressed by how much Dai genuinely cares about all of the cats he rescues. You can feed and play with the cats and the treats and toys will be provided for you at the experience. Many of the cats were very friendly and quick to warm up to new people. But the shy ones were just as cute too!! It was a relaxing and fun experience to spend time with them.

Government ID
You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
