Be ready to swim and remember you do not have to go out all the way and Danielle will tell you this. It is okay to go some of the way. It’s $20.00 for a wet suit rental and leave a ID or credit card. The wet suit people will keep your beach bag or towel in a bin for you. Also, it seems you can leave your towel and shoes at the beach with the host’s items and no one bother it. There are showers in the brown building to wash the excess sand off. I suggest not buying that full face snorkel mask as I found out the hard way it’s not recommended because hard to breath in for some. Danielle is a great host and she is very nice and knowledgable about the beach, aquatic wildlife, and snorkeling. She was in constant contact with the guests and responds to questions. She accommodated us with her scheduling around my son’s birthday/vacation. Danielle keeps track of favorable conditions for snorkeling or not and relays it to guests in timely manner. I recommend this activity for the adventurous strong swimmers.

I booked a private experience for my friend's bachelorette party with Danielle over two months ago. I provided the information she requested on shoe sizes for fins in the airbnb messenger (see attached). She showed up with gear for 5 people because she didn't pay attention to how many of each size I told her to bring. She then blamed me in front of my group and left for 45 minutes to get masks, snorkels and fins for the rest of the girls. At this point we're half way through our experience when we finally head to the water. At this point the majority of the girls are struggling with the gear, which was for men and much too big, Danielle provided no instruction on how to use what was provided or even that you need to back into the water when wearing fins. The strap on the mask broke when one of the girls put it on and Danielle was simply going to "tie it in a knot." When my friend spoke up saying she wasn't comfortable going into the ocean with a broke mask, Danielle made her leave the group and go alone to switch out the mask at the shop where she got it. My friend walked around barefoot on hot cement, without a phone for 30 minutes trying to find the shop with no help or direction. Another one of the girls discovered that her snorkel was blocked and unable to be breathed out of, only after getting out into the ocean. She switched with Danielle but then Danielle gave that snorkel/mask set to the bride when her mask kept flooding due to the fact they were all men's masks and far too wide for a woman's slim face. The flooding caused my friend/the bride to have a panic attack in the water and when I swam over to grab her hands and calm her down Danielle laughed and asked if we were going "free diving." The safety of every woman in that group was put at great risk under Danielle's "supervision." If it weren't for being a trained scuba diver myself, the bride would have undoubtedly had a medical emergency in the ocean due to the gross and undeniable negligence. It was by far the worst experience any of us had ever paid for and I stand as a trained and certified scuba diver that Danielle is not fit to lead or protect the lives of tour groups in the water.

So, we actually ended up doing a sea kayak instead since the conditions for snorkeling weren't good, but I'm unable to change what my review is for...regardless, Danielle was a wonderful kayaking host and I'm sure she'd be great guiding snorkeling, too! She is very knowledgeable about the area and you can tell how passionate she is. That made it a great experience. Thanks, Danielle!

I have extra sets DEPENDING on your size, Wetsuit - Depending on how easy you get cold, Sunscreen (optional), Waterproof camera (optional), Scene of adventure, Swim suit (optional), Towel (optional), EVERYTHING WILL BE LEFT ON THE BEACH OR ON YOU WHILE SWIMMING. NO LOCKERS AT THE BEACH.
