About Kitchens for Good
Kitchens for Good breaks the cycles of food waste, poverty, and hunger through programs in culinary job training, healthy meal production, and social enterprise. Our main program, "Project Launch", provides culinary job training to individuals with high barriers to employment including folks transitioning out of the justice system, homelessness, domestic violence, foster care, and addiction.
This is a social impact experience where 100% of what you pay for this experience goes to Kitchens for Good. .
What we’ll do
Master the kitchen and learn to cook while helping a great local cause! We will be working as a team to cook 100+ healthy meals for local hunger relief nonprofits. Guests will learn to chop, season, sauté, roast, and more! Our process will include the entire meal production process, from washing the produce to packaging the meals. What else you should know
Strive to eat a meal before the session. Bring a reusable water bottle if you have one. Closed-toe, non-slip shoes are required and please wear pants. Aprons and hairnets will be provided.
