What you'll do

First, we’ll meet at Kennedy's park at 1:00 p.m. Once everybody is ready to go, we start our journey. We'll go to the train station to get to our next stop. We'll spend 15 minutes on the train. Just after we get off our first stop, we'll try a traditional street food while I will be describing to you aspects of our culture from the point of view of the lower- middle social class, as opposed to the high class most known to the common tourist. After finishing the meal, we'll take a taxi to the bottom of the mountain. Once we're there, we start the real adventure. It's around two hours walking until we get to the top. We won't go straight there, however. On the way to the top we'll take some photos in the wild area and the big rocks playing with the effects of the sun. We’ll make the stops needed so everybody is comfortable. Once at the top, we'll be taking more photos in the popular sculptures like the ''inca'' and the ''cisne'' and other places while the cloud mattress begins to form. By 5:00 p.m. we should be seated on the closest mountain to the clouds and enjoying the view while trying some snacks and toasting for the great moment. By 6:00 p.m. we start descending and will take more photos with the colorful night, we'll also have time to contemplate the starry sky and we finish with another street food meal and we'll be back to kennedy's park by 9:45 p.m.
Other things to note
This adventure is very different from the others offered in Lima because we are not going to stay in the fancy districts (Barranco, Miraflores, San Isidro, etc). We'll go to other districts where you'll have the opportunity to know the inside of the capital, it is not fancy but deffinetely worth it.

I'm a inveterate traveler. Since I was a child I grew up with a passion for the mountains, the views and the connection with nature. Now I’m proud to say that I’m living what I always wanted. I have years of experience exploring the Peruvian landscapes and subcultures and every time I love more what I do. A couple of years ago, I started teaching my friends the skills that these activities require. So, as I succeed, I've decided to share the experiences that I'm living and give others the opportunity to enjoy them too. In these years I’ve accumulated experience to manage the hardest situations that come up doing these activities, so... don't worry about anything. Simply, enjoy the aventure!

Where you'll be

We’ll go to the top of a mountain called “Apu Siqay” which means (climb or ascend to God). It's a mountain in the center of Lima where we'll see a cloud mattress. Its amazing views and feelings inspired by nature and the disconnection with the outside world makes this place majestic. As we're going to be literally above the clouds, we'll also see a colorful sky that will turn into a sky full of stars. It's a magic al adventure that you can't miss

This is exactly what you want in a tour from a local. George knows and loves Lima, and it's so obvious in everything he does. Again and again, we realized we were seeing the Lima that, usually, only locals see, from the amazing street food, to our first tuc-tuc in Peru, to a climb that is, just as he promises, above the clouds. Be prepared to get pretty dusty—you are truly climbing here, and sometimes up rocks. This is perfect if you are up for a challenge, though you'll want to be in good shape. George helps everyone, and is endlessly encouraging, lighthearted, and completely passionate about sharing these aspects of his country with guests. Absolutely book if you are up for a very exciting and fun challenge.
