First thing in the morning..We will throw on a pot of our celebrated MCT oil infused Coffee, or tea if you wish, and get started in a day of creative fun and bringing forth your creative side that you may or may not have given attention to. All skill levels welcom! We will chose a canvas board of 2'x2' sheet of plywood which we will paint a mural-to-go that you take with you when you leave(we can also ship this). I will lead you thru the steps of creating a vibrant and memorable masterpiece all while sharing her heritage and cultural experiences and techniques. You are able to pre-select your theme and subject matter to paint if so desired upon reservations during our communications. And then we will bring your imagination to life. Then we will take a breather and have lunch delivered from your choice of locally famous eateries, from Japanese Hibachi style, to Mexican, to down east Country Buffet where you can pig out on comfort food. After lunch we will go back to the studio and wrap up our painting project and get it ready for travel or shipping. We will end the day with great conversation and a cup of coffee or tea.
I have been painting professionally in homes and businesses publicly and privately for over 20 years and I obtained my accredited training and internship with York Academy of Arts. My teaching experience is mostly with children, troubled youth, veterans and independent seniors. I recently retired off of Camp Lejeune where I ran a Mess Hall for 6 years, managing and training over 50 staff and marines, where I received intensive and focused training in the art of communications and people management. As a Native Hawaiian artist, I want to inspire, inform and entertain, by providing fine art exposure to all walks of life.. bridging the gap between professional and aspiring artists, connecting by our love of art Aloha in ancient Hawaiian means, "may the secret of the breath of life go with you always" I live my life with the Aloha Spirit.
