I am still buzzing from this incredible experience! It felt like visiting sacred ground to get to experience the Miles Davis home and learn more about him and the rich and vibrant history of East St. Louis with the folks who have so lovingly restored his childhood home. I could not get over the beautiful original hardwood floors, under which his high school band practiced in the basement! After this tour I enjoyed intimate conversation at the Local Legends Listening Room with Treasure and the rest of the group to process what we learned. I will definitely be returning for a summer trip! This special experience with Treasure is well worth the trip whether you are from STL or coming in to the region from out of town!

Treasure offers an incredible personal experience, seeing the historic home and experiencing beautiful connections. After this tour and conversation, I found real pathways I could offer my students, family and friend group. It was lovely to reflect on the musical independence Miles Davis always executed. And wonderful to learn about the mentor programs the MIles home is building. We will be back for the next stage in June!
