What you'll do

Upon your arrival for this traditional textiles workshop, you will received with a warm welcome from our artisans, Pututeros and Varayoc who will delight you with the magnificent sounds of the pututo (seashell) and with some local customs of the community. Our local expert guide will receive you and will provide you with all the explanation about the project, traditional textiles trajectory, recognitions and the textile industry in general.

We will start with our experience at the workshop, the first activitie will be going out to collect plants, prepare the wool and dyeing process. for this activitie you will have an assistan who will guide you through the process of dyeing and weaving.

We will provide you all the materials required for this traditional textiles workshop and everything you produce can be taken home with a certificate issued by our workshop and signed by artisan teachers recognized by UNESCO.
The dyeing activitie will be done until lunch time. Lunch will be in a family style sharing with the artisans in the workshop.

After lunct, it will be a full adventure afternoon of great concentration and perseverance in learning to master the threads to go forming different motifs in our textile piece, your personal assistant will be with you during this process. We are sure that it will be an unforgettable experience.
