What you'll do

We will begin our tour at Foxcroft Wine where our first cocktail will be a specialty wine selection paired with housemade ricotta cheese on crostini and a side of marinated olives. We then head across the street to the only Persian venue in Greenville, Pomegranate on Main, and enjoy a bountiful appetizer spread complete with breads, cheeses, spreads, dips, etc. all served with a signature pomegranate cocktail. We will walk a little ways to our next venue, a funky artist vibe place that is very much like a venue you would find in Asheville. It is a British Pub, Velo Fellow, and it is located in the basement of a very old cotton warehouse. Here you will enjoy a dynamic craft cocktail creation made by their mixologist and a delicious and bountiful spread of appertizers to make you want to keep eating and eating! Our final stop is the Old Europe Dessert bakery recently opened in Greenville. Here you will enjoy two lovely glasses of hand selected wines that will accompany fine handcrafted european desserts. A wonderful evening!

Learn more about Rose

Rose

As a passionate foodie and lover of all things Greenville, I founded the Foothill Foodie Tours in 2018. Greenville is a delightful, magical place with a culinary scene that screams come visit! I love the downtown area, the passion that local chefs have for the food they serve, the local sourcing that they promote, and I love sharing all of this with visitors and locals alike. It is a real joy (which comes from my Italian heritage) to share food, fun and history along with interesting stories about Greenville with all the guests on the tours. By the end of the tours, many of the guests are exchanging e-mails and phone numbers because food is universal and makes everyone feel good. It's a joy to share this experience with our guests and a pleasure to share our passion for food, fun, and all things Greenville.

Where you'll be

Our first location is the original Ford Model T Dealership in Greenville, now converted into a very classy wine bar. The second location is a Persian restaurant with a beautiful outdoor garden area, the third stop is in a basement of an old cotton warehouse with a very funky vibe not readily seen by many, our last location is in a row house type setting of old retail stores well over 100 years old.
