Sheana and Ben were amazing—welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. The class was the perfect length, and making butter and ricotta felt very approachable, even for beginners, making it a great group activity.
I especially loved the “choose your own adventure” element when seasoning the ricotta. The variety of add-ins—seasoned salt, herbs, fresh peppercorns, and olive oil—made it fun, creative, and truly hands-on.
Overall, it was a blast. Sheana and Ben’s deep culinary backgrounds really showed, along with their strong local partnerships (hello, cheese foam at Thomas Keller restaurants!). You leave with plenty of customized cheese and the tools and confidence to make both ricotta and butter at home.
