About your host

I am an ex-food blogger, current food and restaurant marketer, food tour guide and Greenwich resident. I've been running food tours for over 3 years with roughly equal numbers of corporate groups, locals on special occasions and tourists. I host on Airbnb in Greenwich and have been informally showing my guests the pubs, market and the best street food, peppered with history and stories. I adore…

What we’ll do

We'll tour gorgeous Greenwich on foot, taking in the historic sights whilst tasting a range of the varied and unique delicacies on offer. From a near culinary desert, in the last few years the area has blossomed into a foodie paradise, and we're going to spend the afternoon experiencing what it has to offer. From traditional British stalwarts to global flavours and sweet treats, we'll meet…

What else you should know

We will be starting a little along the river, for views, stories and snacks, and then walk along the river, through the main part of Greenwich via the market building, and finish on the other side near the mainline station. It's about 1.5 - 2 miles in total.

What I’ll provide

Snacks and Appetizers
Selection of samples from featured venues.
Beer and Wine
Some alcohol is included on the tour, but is not compulsory. No alcohol will be served to under-18s.

Where you'll be

Greenwich is known for its Naval history and beautiful architecture and iconic Royal Park, but not so much for its food. We'll be changing all that by showing guests the culinary expertise, imagination and independent spirit that goes into some of the restaurants, trucks and stalls in the area. We'll be immersed in homemade English sausages with a cult following, to traditional Italian gelato, to the worldwide street food of Greenwich Market.
