Where you'll be

We will be hiking and exploring native plants in either pinyon-juniper woodlands, creosote bush scrub or riparian habitats. I customize plant hikes to meet the guest hiking experience. This is a fun way to meet our desert flora and introduction to herbalism. There is no wildcrafting (gathering of plants)

I was in Joshua Tree for the first time & by myself, I planned this activity to learn about the native plants because they are so different from what we have on the east coast. Christina was very knowledgeable & passionate and her excitement was contagious. Would definitely do again because she has several different spots she take on tours with different plant offerings!

My mom and I attended Christina’s herbal walk and it was a truly special event for us to share together! Christina has a breadth of information to share about local plants and you can really feel her passion for educating others on the different plants you can find in the palm desert. We left feeling connected to the area, inspired to learn more about our own local plants and herbs, and with an awesome honey/Yerba Santa concoction to take home! Thank you Christina for such a special experience.
