What you'll do
We'll start our little adventure at Parque Morazan's kiosk ("Templo de la Música"), and then walk along Central Avenue for a few blocks. We'll walk through the alleys and food stalls of the Central Market and Borbón Market, a more underground spot compared to the Central Market. Dragon Music is a retro music store in the middle of Borbón Market, where you can find used vinyl, CDs, magazines, and more. We'll taste some flavors of the city, from coffee, seasonal fruits to granita ice cream.
Coffee I'll provide a cup of specialty coffee.
I'm a biologist who became a "Chepe" lover —the local nickname for San José. Since 2010, I've been part of an organization called "ChepeCletas" (I'm co-founder) that creates activities to make locals and non-locals alike fall in love with the city through public walks, bike rides, dances, and more. I walk, bike, taste, and love San José, and love to share it. I love good food and good conversation. My friends Carla, Carlos and Jessica are my partners in crime in this experience, we can't wait to show you our city to make you walk it, taste it and love it.
