I followed my husband to Pittsburgh five years ago, and saw the opportunity to reinvent myself. Inspired by Michael's entrepreneurial spirit I decided to offer historical tours through Pittsburgh. Since I earned a Master's Degree in Art and Architectural History, and I used to live in Rome (Italy), Berlin (Germany) as well as New York City (all great places for art + architecture), I though this would be e great fit. So I founded Bike the Burgh Tours first in 2015, and added Walk the Burgh Tours a year and a half later. After two years of doing every tour myself, I found some equally passionate and enthusiastic, local tour guides who love this city and also strive for excellence. We love to show off our city, we love our job, and we love meeting people from all around the world! Come join us while exploring the Burgh!

Where you'll be

Heinz History Center, the city's biggest history museum that apparently is haunted; the old Union Station, a grandiose building that also hosts several mysterious ghosts; the Federal courthouse where the soul of a former judge is living now; the County courthouse + jail with the most fascinating spirits ever; the oldest still operating hotel in town with over 600 rooms and two uninhabited top floors, some great murder stories - and much more!

Christina hosted our experience and she was AMAZING! She connected with us and made it great for the adults and the kids on the tour, tough to do when you have such a gap in age on your audience. At the end of the tour we grabbed milkshakes together with the discount their company provided us with. We then walked some more through some of the neat parts of town on the way back and met some more unique people. A worthwhile tour if you like history, architecture and ghosts!

There was a glitch with ordering our tickets that accidentally had us booked to a full tour. Valentina worked with us, making multiple adjustments, to make sure we would be able to attend. Christina was a lovely tour guide who was very personable and flexible. Overall, the tour wasn't nearly as spooky as I was hoping for because we were mostly on the main roads. It was more about learning some of the history of the city through ghost stories then designed for a spooky experience.

First time visiting the city and wanted to learn a little bit as well. It was a great time and got to see parts of the city I would not of known about just driving around!

We had a great time! No gimmicks, no lame stories from the internet, but authentic and interesting haunted Pittsburgh history. Our guide did everything she could to make sure that we enjoyed the tour, and we loved it.

Corrie was an exceptional, passionate, engaging Tour Guide. Despite the current limitations due to the COVID 19 environment, she made the tour extremely interesting and fun!

This a really nice tour of some interesting, old, and somewhat haunted places in Pittsburgh. It was interesting to hear some stories that most tour guides would not divulge about some wierd and spooky things that have occured in the city.
