I followed my husband to Pittsburgh five years ago, and saw the opportunity to reinvent myself. Inspired by Michael's entrepreneurial spirit I decided to offer historical tours through Pittsburgh. Since I earned a Master's Degree in Art and Architectural History, and I used to live in Rome (Italy), Berlin (Germany) as well as New York City (all great places for art + architecture), I though this would be e great fit. So I founded Bike the Burgh Tours first in 2015, and added Walk the Burgh Tours a year and a half later. After two years of doing every tour myself, I found some equally passionate and enthusiastic, local tour guides who love this city and also strive for excellence. We love to show off our city, we love our job, and we love meeting people from all around the world! Come join us while exploring the Burgh!

Where you'll be

Heinz History Center, the city's biggest history museum that apparently is haunted; the old Union Station, a grandiose building that also hosts several mysterious ghosts; the Federal courthouse where the soul of a former judge is living now; the County courthouse + jail with the most fascinating spirits ever; the oldest still operating hotel in town with over 600 rooms and two uninhabited top floors, some great murder stories - and much more!

The tour was beautiful. Our host had a true love of Pittsburgh and enjoyed speaking of it's history. She even focused the tour on our specific interests since we were the only family on the tour. It was our first night visiting Pittsburgh and gave us a real feel for the city!

We liked our tour and our guide Corrie a lot! She was knowledgeable and fun. Corrie incorporated quite a bit of history into the ghost stories. You end up walking the streets and learning history through fun and interesting stories. Corrie truly loves what she does and I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone!

Cori was amazing with making the experience personable. We were the only ones on the tour and she made it so comfortable. None of the stories were cheesy or unbelievable. She had done so much in the city that she actually heard first hand stories through her networking and connections. Some of the tour we couldn’t do because of COVID so she offered to take us to some extra places. We want to definitely do this again when Covid is over and other tours! Great experience.
