What you'll do

We meet at our farm. Together we go to the alpaca stable. There you will get an introduction about the handling of the animals and their behavior. Of course, other information such as origin or maintenance.

Then we go to the pasture and attract the alpacas with hay to us. After mutual acquaintance and getting to know each other, we lodge the alpacas and go for a walk together. During the walk through the beautiful Rhinehessian landscape you have enough opportunity to observe the animals and take pictures. Or to ask more questions. The hike takes about 1 hour. Depending on the size of the group, the alpacas are run either in pairs or alone. Weatherproof clothing and sturdy shoes recommended.
 
Afterwards it is possible to stop for a wine or a homemade snack in our wine bar.

At our farm we have traditional experience in keeping livestock, since the beginning of 2019 we hold 4 alpacas. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Spaziergang mit den Alpakas und haben uns sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Die Wanderroute zwischen den Weinbergen war sehr idyllisch, die Alpakas sind wirklich niedlich und wir haben einige interessante Dinge erfahren. Zum Abschluss gab es auf dem Hof noch den sehr guten hauseigenen Wein. Super!👍🏼

Doris was really nice and she tried hard to make it nice for us. However, I would recommend not going with children under 6 and when the weather is not so hot. Appart of this, which was completely not Doris fault, all went well.
