What you'll do

Get up close and personal to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House by kayak! The tour will take you right up to the Opera House sea wall for the best photo opportunity Sydney Harbour has to offer.
Starting from the RBPS wharf at Rushcutters Bay, we'll weave along the Harbour foreshores to Lady Macquarie's Chair where you'll see Sydney's beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens from a front row seat. After a brief history of the gardens (and a breather!), we'll continue across Farm Cove until we reach the Sydney Opera House sea wall - so close you'll feel like you can reach out and touch it.
After a group photo and some time to enjoy the architecture, we'll strike out across the bay until the Harbour Bridge towers above us for another unforgettable photo opportunity - there really is no better location than right on the water to capture it's size and beauty (and be in the photo!).
After you've had time to take in the sights, it's a leisurely meander around Garden Island, across the beautiful Elizabeth Bay and back to the wharf for hot coffee and lunch.
After this incredibly unique experience, you will be so well versed in the history, the beauty and the secrets of Sydney Harbour that you could become a tour guide yourself!
Other things to note
If we are unable to conduct the tour due to unsafe weather conditions on the Harbour, we will refund your booking in full.

Where you'll be

Starting from D'Albora Marina in Rushcutters Bay, the tour weaves its way along the Harbour foreshores in a Westerly direction. Crossing the beautiful Elizabeth Bay, past the Garden Island Naval Base, through the stunning Royal Botanic Gardens until we reach Farm Cove, home to the Sydney Opera House. Finally, we'll strike out into the Harbour proper until we are front and center for the Harbour Bridge photo. Then, a leisurely paddle home.

This was a fantastic way to experience iconic Sydney landmarks up close and personal. Tony was a great companion and made me feel very welcome. I'd highly recommend this experience :)

Highly recommended. Wonderful experience even in the middle of winter. The harbour was calm, views exceptional, the exercise easy and our host made it an informative fun afternoon. All the above. This was a magical day for my partner and me. From the moment we met Tony (Jacqui's husband), to the time we had to leave, he made us feel special. He was relaxed and nattered away comfortably with us. Tony has a relaxed manner that instantly puts you at ease. His simple instructions and guiding way, made us both feel we could do this, and we did. Our tour ended perfectly with hot coffees and ham and cheese toasties enjoyed while sitting on a deck chair in the sun watching the harbour. Sydney Harbour is a glorious spot, and although I am an Aussie, who has travelled many times on ferries and boats on this harbour, seeing it from the perspective of a kayak is incredible! Don't leave Sydney without having this experience!!

It was definitely a good experience. Toni was a great instructor. Though it was my first time kayaking on the sea, Toni taught me very well. Do not forget your swimsuit, towel, and sunglasses. Enjoy the tour!

Was a nice early morning kayak trip. With light boat traffic on a sunny day. Great toasted ham and cheese sandwich in the dick afterward. Highly recommend.

Aaaaaaaamazing Experience! Book it!!!! I've done a fair few Airbnb experiences and this was certainly one of my favs and moved to top of list! Tony was an incredible host, so knowledgable, personable and just overall great fun and banter. To be able to kayak through the harbour and literally row "right up" to the stunning Sydney Opera house and Harbour bridge...it's literally a once in a lifetime experience and even though I now live here this is an experience I will never forget. Tony made sure we were all looked after and safe at all times...he was like a proper little tour guide and also wore the hat of being our photographer giving us some epic pics and cherished memories to last a life time. The trip finished by meeting Tony's lovely wife Jacqui who had the most yummiest of sandwiches waiting for us on arrival. Overall a truly amazing experience; great fun, incredible views and a serious good work out for all levels of fitness. Safety is also key so no need to fear as Tony is an expert and you have life jackets also. Get out there and enjoy the best you will ever see of Sydney!!! You won't regret it! Thanks and massive kudos Tony and Jacqui, we will certainly be back folks!!
