What you'll do

We'll do the reverse commute from Manhattan to Brooklyn on a comfortable ferry where we'll get the best possible views of the legendary Brooklyn Bridge - from the water itself. Learn about the history of this landmark and how it transformed the waterfront. Once we arrive in Dumbo, we'll see how this neighborhood has changed from an industrial hub to a once abandoned and run-down area to a now revitalized hub for artists, innovators, tech companies, and photographers. As we take in the breathtaking views along old warehouses and cobblestone streets, we'll visit some of the local businesses and meet the people in the community. Pay a visit to the brand new Time Out Market. Meet staff members at places like indie bookstore Powerhouse Arena and artisanal Brooklyn Roasting Company. Enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes access at a local artist's studio to meet the artist and learn about their work. Have the chance to pour your own beer at one of the city's newest brewpubs and sample some of the neighborhood's great local food.
