What you'll do

This tour is about discovering some of Bucerias's and Mexico's amazing local beers while getting to see some of our town's colorful streets and everyday life. Stop 1 - We tour past some great landmarks of Bucerias, weaving through the streets to find our way to our first stop - We bike over to the local Cervecería - a new spot in town, slightly hidden, but not for long! Taste test a flight of whatever is on tap for the day and munch on some tropical delights. You will also learn how the beer is made, where the hops come from and why the brewmaster has chosen these particular styles. Time permitting, the owner will take us on a tour of where he brews this majestic beer! Stop 2 - At this stop we will learn about and sample one of our favourite Mexican wines and a contemporary take on some traditional Mexican dishes. To finish, a little kiss of Mezcal and Raicilla. Did you know that Mezcal and Racilla are cousins of Tequila? This tasting will teach you more about the history of how they all evolved. While alcohol is served at each stop, your safety is important to us. Drink portions are small and spread out equalling 2 drinks over the course of two hours. For your safety, we reserve the right to refuse the participation of a guest who arrives intoxicated.

Your hosts

I have owned and operated Bici Bucerias with my husband Joel for almost 6 years, in the amazing, sweet town of Bucerias! Joel has been an avid cyclist for over 15 years and loves to share his love of cycling, food, drink, and Mexico with everyone, this is how Bici Bucerias was created!
