What you'll do

You’ll arrive at Turtle Beach boat launch and meet up with the Kayaking SRQ crew. We then put everyone in the kayak they reserve and do a paddle lesson on the water. We are then off paddling the shallow waters of Little Sarasota bay and Jim Neville Preserve. We will search for dolphins and manatees. Then we visit the hidden beach at Midnight Pass. It’s definitely one of Sarasota’s Hidden Gems. Although never guaranteed, manatees and dolphins are spotted regularly and we do our best to find them. After kayaking the tunnels, guests can go across to the public beach. We also supply dry bags for phones and keys.

Where you'll be

We will start the experience with a paddle lesson for each of our guests. Then we will head out to Jim Neville Preserve. We will be searching for manatees, dolphins, and birds along the way. While never promised we do our best to find them for you. After our trip around the mangroves we will stop off at the hidden beach of Midnight Pass. Guests will be able to get out of their kayaks and swim, walk the beach, and look for shells.

More tips

Our kayak tour is for both the experienced paddler and the first time paddler. Our guides will help you in and out of your boats. While alligators can travel in any body of water they do not prefer salt water where we will be kayaking.
