What you'll do

You are invited to our farm to learn how to feed and care for donkeys, horses, sheep, pigs, and chickens. You can give the horses a bath and a full grooming. The miniature donkeys can also be groomed. You can also experience feeding and turning out the horses in the morning or evening. During the winter months the experience will be at 5:00 PM and during the summer months it will be at 8:00 AM. Feeding pigs, collecting eggs, feeding lambs will depend on the season as these animals are raised through the 4H program and are not always available.

Learn more about Clark

Clark

Clark and Lisa Wagner own and operate Quail Run Farm. Lisa is a practicing Equine Veterinarian. We breed and raise miniature donkeys for hire and for sale. We have our own horses that we ride. Our daughter Kristin competes in equestrian events and participates in Pony Club. We also breed and raise lambs. James and Kristin both participate in 4H raising beef cattle, pigs, lambs and chickens. We have two barn cats and a very active German Shepherd, named Dog.

Where you'll be

Most of the experience will be in the barn for the horses and a small paddock for the donkeys. There is a wash stall with both hot and cold water for washing and grooming the animals. We have 4 horses, and several donkeys. Depending on the season, we may have new born lambs or miniature donkeys since we breed these animals on the farm.
