This was a really nice experience! We enjoyed beautiful views of Palccoyo. The weather really blessed us today. The tour included transportation, a snack and lunch. For a 10 hours experience, this was great value for money. The only issue I had was that I messaged two times before the day to ask whether I was getting picked up from my airbnb and did not receive a response. I had to find the store location in Cusco and go ask in person. Only then the staff there was able to confirm time and place of pick up with me. This was the only struggle I had. Otherwise the tour was lovely. Would recommend.

We absolutely loved this journey. Jacob was an amazing tour guide. I needed some oxygen due to altitude and I was so thankful that Jacob had some on hand. Jacob was kind & accomodating. We were provided two meals. The entire experience was wonderful! It was one of our favorite excursions in Peru. It is a must see!

This is a great tour, however it does not actually go to The Rainbow Mountain (aka Montaña Vinicunca). Instead it goes to a smaller similarly coloured mountain (i.e. Montaña Palcoyo).

Palccoyo hike is an absolute must! Fantastic hiking experience in a beautiful mountain range. The Quechua community near the top are fantastic people and I really enjoyed talking to them and getting to know them. And the alpacas! My sweet lovely babies! If you love alpacas this is the trip to take. The Quechua community raises and cares for thousands of alpacas, and you will get the chance to interact with them. I was fortunate to be there right after birthing season and got to hold a one week old alpaca. I nearly died of pure bliss.
