In this class you will learn how to make 4 types of sushi that you find at most Japanese restaurants: Hosomaki Nigiri Temaki Uramaki Makiko will also show you how to cut your own sushi with a sashimi knife, and will teach you Japanese table manners including how to hold chopsticks and eat sushi Japanese way.

I am a Japanese sushi chef, I had my own restaurant for over 10 years. I've taught Japanese cooking and culture to thousands of people over the years, visiting schools and people across the world, and I have served food for many people, including at Buckingham Palace. Closing my restaurant is the next big chapter of my life, and I want to put my efforts fully into teaching. Many people think that making sushi is difficult and therefore become intimidated by it, but I want to show you some useful tips and skills so that everyone can make beautiful sushi, and enjoy making it.
