What you'll do

Come to our farm and meet our rescue Alpacas. You can play and learn and take some amazing selfies. Then I will bring you to the barn to enjoy tea or cocoa. You can sit at our long table and learn all about Alpaca fiber. Did you know that Alpaca fiber is 8 times warmer than wool and contains no lanolin? You will learn about “felting” and make a needle felted Alpaca ornament or felted soap. You can then visit our farm store where we have gorgeous Alpaca caps and socks made locally and organically from our own Alpacas. You can buy a “Libby” hat. This is truly called “farm to fashion”

Pam & Merrill & Randy

My family owns Cedar Ridge Ranch. We offer “Glamping” to experience farm Life. We rescued our herd of Alpacas 5 years ago and have become immersed in their history , behavior and the incredible fiberthat they produce. We offerAlpaca yoga during the summer and it has been amazing. Alpacas have such a keen sense of the energy around them and love to share their antics when they feel relaxed. Each Alpaca has their own personality for instance. “Libby” is actually named Liberty Belle because she was born on the 4 of July. Libby is just the social queen, she will run up to you and loves to give kisses. Learn the history of Alpacas from their native land of Peru. They have only been in the U. S. Since the 1980’s. Come a “Play with our Pacas” and then come in the barn and learn how to felt and take home a handmade ornament or felted soap.
