About your host

Tim and his wife Beth have been raising suri alpacas for more than 15 years. Currently, we have over 50 adorable alpacas on our farm. We are very involved in both local and national alpaca organizations that promote the welfare of these animals. We love sharing our farm and alpacas with others.

What we’ll do

We'll start your adventure with a Q & A session about alpacas. Learn where they come from and why we raise them in Indiana. Learn how we care for them and how we make them comfortable in all seasons. You will also learn why alpacas are a sustainable source of quality fiber used to make all sorts of clothing and accessories. Alpacas and gentle and safe to be around. However, you will be on a working farm and there are inherent risks.

Where you'll be

Heritage Farm has been in Beth's family for over 60 years. It's a beautiful 130 acre piece of land in Indiana's agricultural heartland.
