What you'll do

A fine bottle of Ausone Bordeaux, a sumptuous dinner at Le Bernardin's – some things were meant to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace to truly be appreciated. Central Park, in the heart of Manhattan, is one such experience. At 1.3 square miles, finding that special place in Central
Park can be daunting especially out of town visitors to New York City.
Fortunately, our experienced walking tour guides at Unlimited Biking: Central Park stand ready to assist you. Handling groups of up to 25 people, our walking tours operate throughout the spring, summer, and fall seasons. Our large, experienced, licensed staff can offer tours in a
wide range of languages as well, so feel free to contact us to discuss any particular needs your tour group may have.
This two-hour takes guests through the rich foliage, exquisite gardens and cultural history of Central Park. With plenty of rest stops, where our guides will inform you of the many interesting details and anecdotes of Central Park, the tour itself is rated as an easy stroll, with no significant hills to climb.
Come stroll and fall in love with this iconic landmark, exploring the many bridges, fountains and statues that grace the park. For movie enthusiasts, Central Park is the most filmed place in the world – over 300 films have scenes within the park's green expanses, from Romeo and Juliet in 1908 to the Avengers in 2011.

This was an adequate tour. There wasn't anything terribly bad. But there wasn't anything terribly good and that is the issue. Some guides are fantastic, and let's face it, the guide is what makes or breaks a tour. Our guide was average. We learned a lot, but the guide seemed to rattle off from a script and didn't engage with the group or make anyone feel especially comfortable or welcomed. Many times, the guide walked ahead, not noticing that more than half the group stopped to take a pic or something. Again, not bad. But not amazing.

We had Joel show us around Central Park. He showed us some quiet spots, and some beautiful places for great photos. Joel also shared his passion for Shakespeare and John Lennon.
