I have belonged to the Sogetsu School for more than 25 years. My title is first grade teacher, riji—Sogetsu School's highest grade. I had been working as banker, but at the same time I was eager to have warm relationships with others through ikebana. Ikebana works express the inner core of human beings. Objectively, it shows artistry, skill, and the beauty of flowers—however, it also reveals something about humanity. Plase see the other event which is held at Asakusa in the afternoon where is very near Senso-JI temple. There are lots of Retal Komono stores there. How about Ikebana in Kimono?

Where you'll be

This experience will take place at my house. I changed my curtains to rolling screens as a better backdrop for photos. My house is in a cozy residential area in Nakano City. Please take Oedo-Line at Shinjyuku St. and get off at Shin-egota. It's about 25 minutes from Shinjyuku St., Oedo-Line.
