About your host

Training and caring for young Thoroughbreds in their first stages of their career is our passion and our profession. We take the time to get to know each horse through Natural Horsemanship techniques, and then each one progresses through their training stages as they build confidence and physical strength. Depending on when you come out to watch a session you may see the first stages of…

What we’ll do

Depending on the time of day you come out you may watch us exercise (ride) or help feed. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about what it takes to train a young Thoroughbred and prepare them for their racing careers. You’ll get to know a few of them, take some photos and wish them luck before you go. Yes, of course you can pet them! There’s a few who don’t mind kisses as well;)

What else you should know

Wear comfortable shoes, no need for barn boots unless you want! Our place is clean but it’s a farm. You may want a water, or drink, but there’s not extensive walking involved unless you choose to(plenty opportunity to get steps in if you want).Children welcome! Just no running in the barn!

Where you'll be

Our farm is a peaceful spot in Windsor SC, 15 min from downtown Aiken, which was voted the South’s Best Small Town by Southern Living Magazine. We have 18 horses in training, 4 dogs & 2 barn cats. You’ll visit the horses in the barn and the paddocks. Depending on the time of day, see them gallop on the Training Track. For those who need to stay in their vehicle you’ll still be able to meet the horses, watch them train, and talk about what we do
