What you'll do

Venice is really nice right now! Few tourists, not crowded, perfect for a morning out with rescue dogs that will love your company!

Our walk will focus on the dogs and sightseeing, with proper social distancing. Our rescue dogs are really ready to get out and exercise and meet people! They can't wait to meet you!!!

Start off with a leisurely stroll through the canals, as we tell you about the dogs and local residences. You will cross over charming pedestrian bridges and have great opportunity for fab photos with you and the doggos!

Then our pack will make our way to the famous Venice Beach sign and the boardwalk! We'll see the amazing "Touch of Venice" mural, then stroll by the skate park on the beach, muscle beach and a number of other sights!

Then we'll slow down again for a charming walk on the other side of the canals, with loads of great picture spots. We'll give the dogs treats for their good work with us, and make our way back to where we started. At the end you will receive a pamphlet with even more "Hidden Venice" you can explore on your own, especially in areas where it might be too "car busy" for us to walk the dogs.

NOTE:
We run one of the top Experiences on Airbnb: Hike Runyon Canyon with a rescue dog! See that Experience and our 1000+ 5-star reviews: https://www.airbnb.com/experiences/82265

It was a great experience! We were looking for an opportunity for our kids to be exposed to rescue dogs. They had a lot of questions and observations. Ryan was very patient and answered every one. It was a nice workout too. Pink gave me a run for my money. Such a sweet dog. It was great to hear about their personalities, likes, and dislikes too. Looking forward to adopting soon!

Was not what was described. Tour was about an hour and 10 minutes, not two hours. Did not tour all the highlighted areas. There were four dogs on the tour, only one was up for adoption. The others belonged to the tour guide that she rescued. Felt like we paid to walk her dogs that weren’t in need. Thought this was an event benefitting dogs needing a forever home.

We've done this several times and have already scheduled future dates. Each time is a bit different, but being able to learn more about the dog's past and show them love is wonderful! It's two hours of joy! We show up with the intention of helping and leave realizing that we're gaining so much more than expected - unconditional love from dogs who, despite their past, show up wagging their tails and ready to GO! It's a special couple of hours!

We did the Runyon canyon Walk last summer and wanted to try this one too. It was super cool and casual. Loved all the dogs and Candy had a lot of great information and stories about Venice and the dogs. I liked that we were supporting such a great cause, enjoying a fun walk and exercise , and getting to interact with the sweet dogs. Highly recommend!

We did this for my cousin's bachelor party and it was awesome. Got some exercise for ourselves and it was so nice to get some dog therapy on the trip. Everyone love it, great way to explore Venice.
